Today was my first visit and Dr. Agrawal was very patient understanding accommodating friendly and so helpful. I am a big baby when it comes to dentists and my first visit with her she has my trust. I also asked the other patient in the room his opinion as a return client and he also had high praise for her. My tooth doesn't hurt as much and am finally getting all these bad teeth removed. Let me start by saying something. There is a great difference between treatment and care. I have been undergoing severe trauma for past 3 months and have been misinformed and misdiagnosed by other family dentistry at Milpitas. I lived with pain, fear and constant trauma. That is when I approached Dr.Mudita Agrawal late in the evening of Feb 10th 2023 through some reference. She took me in with care and empathy, understanding sense of urgency she immediately evaluated me and provided me honest evaluation and crafted a proper treatment plan. Now that is what I am talking about CARE vs TREATMENT. So if you need a doctor who listens you, understand you, evaluate you, never ever hesitate to go to Dr.Mudita Agrawal. Trust me it's worth. Future Dental Care certainly is setting a new standard of what oral heal visits can look like. If I could give this practice a 10-star rating, I would. I have yet to encounter such a pleasant experience at the dentist. They are professional, impeccably friendly and respectful. They are very easy to get ahold of via phone and email. My mouth guard was created quickly and fits perfectly. The attention to detail for the guests' experience has been thought through. As someone who had previously been skeptical of the evaluation and recommendations provided by dentists in the past - leading me to avoid going for years at a time - I was incredibly impressed with Dr. Agrawal and Future Dental Care. First, she had seen my wife emergently on a Saturday night as a new patient to replace a broken crown when her own dentist would not. Given her positive experience, decided to make an appointment myself for a routine evaluation and cleaning later that same week. From the moment walking in and seeing your name on a decorative chalkboard to welcome you, the experience is very relaxed. You can play whatever music or netflix shows you want while the procedure is done. Dr. Agrawal did the entire xray acquisition, dental cleaning, and explanations herself, thoroughly going through the imaging, photographs, recommendations, and pricing. Her bedside manner was impeccable. But most importantly she developed a trust I felt that she'll do whatever is right for me - not to perform unnecessary procedures to generate revenue, but only what is required. She spent a great deal of time counseling on optimizing my home regimen, but not in a patronizing or pedantic way. Because I will need a procedure - with which I entirely agree based on the imaging and her explanation - she didn't charge me a dime for this visit despite spending over an hour with me, and personally made sure my insurance would cover the recommended procedure. The whole experience has revolutionized my attitude toward dental care, and I'll be recommending her to all my friends.

Dr. Mudita is the best dentist ever!! Today I had to get a front teeth pulled out due to injury from when I was a kid. Dr. tried to save my tooth but it was breaking and had a big hole in it, she needed to fill it but not saveable. Dr. Mudita decided to do a flipper tooth and today that's what we did. Had to get many shots to numb me and its on the roof of my mouth and those hurt really bad but Dr. is so gentle wiggling my cheek while injecting me. Great service. I came for a cleaning. Dr. Agrawal took all my tooth xrays looked at all my teeth and found out that I also need a filling. She answered all my questions and all the things I was curious about w.r.t. the teeth. Overall she gave me a thorough and a non rushed service. I am no specialist but she seems very knowledgeable about her profession. She did not try to upsell me extra things that my teeth don't need to milk my insurance (like many dental clinics nowadays do). Future Dental Care is by far the best dentist that I have ever been to. Dr. Agrawal is amazing at what she does and is so fun to talk to. I had a pleasant experience. Dr. Agrawal did a great job by doing a thorough examination of the existing oral condition and explaining what needs to be done. You get a full list of recommended treatments with cost breakdown by total cost, insurance pay, out of pocket pay. It's up to you to choose what you want. No pressure at any point in time. If you are someone who finds it difficult to say no then this is the place to get your treatment done according to your wish. She also had good dental apparatuses to make you feel comfortable and don't get tired during long dental procedures. You don't need to put extra effort to open your mouth wide. There are tools now to take care of that. Surprisingly, Dr. Agrawal attends the call sometimes when you dial the number displayed on the website. It was helpful for me to talk to the Doctor directly instead of writing emails or taking one more appointment to ask some trivial questions.

We've been taking our 3 kids to another dentist for years, but he retired and I found Dr. Mudita was just down the street from us and had great reviews. My son just had his first check-up and cleaning and it went flawlessly and Dr. Mudita was so friendly. The TV kepted my son busy (he got to choose the 100 most deadly animals show). I felt bad waking her up in the middle of the night to confirm the appointment thinking it would go to voicemail and she picked up! She was super gracious and didn't get mad at all. Hi, I am a 34 and this has been the best Dentist I have been to in my life!! I go regularly thank you very much. =) THEY HAVE NETFLIX FOR YOU while you are getting worked on WHAT!!! This alone is 5-star worthy. Dr. Mudita Agrawal was nothing short of amazing - she was extremely gentle/careful, had great table(chair?) side manner, and was very directive - as in if i needed to open wider, bite, move my tongue etc. She let me know what was going on with my teeth, what options I had when she found cavities, and how to proceed with the work/repair. She worked with my Insurance and billed me appropriately for what was done, and had several follow up with me to make sure my teeth and I were feeling great. The Facilities were very nice - it was very clean and looked brand new. Dr Agrawal also worked with my busy work schedule, often having appointments with me going past her regular office hours - which I appreciate greatly. I was not really looking for a new dentist because I’ve been going to mine for quite some time however this pandemic has rendered me a bit less flush with cash than I normally was due to my business closing so when I received a flyer in the mail offering a full exam, x-rays, and teeth cleaning I decided to try it. I must say I am over the moon thrilled with this wonderful dentist and her practice. The name is Future ..... and now I know why. Her equipment is almost futuristic. I’ve never seen Equipment of this caliber including an MRI machine which is state of the art. I am overwhelmed with happiness that I have now booked my night bite guard Appliance with her plus my next cleaning four months later. Personally I prefer to have my teeth cleaned every four months due to a buildup of calculus. My other dentist has a hygienist to clean teeth and this Dennis charges me $125 just for the teeth cleaning. I was amazed at how this dentist cleaned my teeth herself. No hygienist and no extra charges. She also took actual camera photos of my teeth with a small electronic pen as well as the usual x-rays. She took the time to go over each tooth. Some show hairline fractures which could not be seen with an x-ray but the photos are most impressive. When I walked in the front door there was a small sign that said Welcome Tricia. A very nice touch. Another wonderful feature is that she has Saturday appointments and evening appointments. Plus she is available 24 hours a day seven days a week for emergencies. Who does that anymore? This dentist is amazing. My teeth were sparkling clean after a thorough “scrubbing”. 😀 Too bad I couldn’t post photos!

Dr. Agrawal and Ms. Alvarez run a wonderful dentistry! From the start, Ms. Alvarez personalized a welcome sign for me and my husband on the start of our appointments. The facilities are clean and welcoming. You could tell that they spent time making sure that the office was COVID-safe. During my routine cleaning, Dr. Agrawal was quick and efficient. She took pictures of my teeth so that I could be better educated on my dental care. Overall, it was the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had.

First time ever writing a review on Yelp never felt like reviewing a place but this time I just have a big need to tell everyone how amazing is this place. The doctor and the front desk girl are super cool. You come in feeling very welcome following protocol into going to wash your hands and rinse your mouth at the cool super clean bathroom with an automatic garbage can . I was a heavy smoker with crooked teeth so every time I was going to the dentist they will talked me down and made me feel ashamed of my mouth appearance in a "nice way" this time was different .she didn't gave me any comment she just told me what we need to work on . She played some music while she worked on me she asked me if I wanted to watch tv. I hope more people come to this place and checked out I will just tell all my friends about this place. We were greeted warmly by the front desk person, DJ, when we came in. They had safety precautions put in place for COVID, and we both felt safe and at ease. Dr. Agrawal is kind and caring. She made the effort to make sure we were comfortable during our visit, and she took some time to get to know each of us and our dental history. Prior to coming in, making our appointment was easy. I called on the phone, and Dr. Agrawal helped to set up appointments for each of us. Let me start by saying I'm very picky with my dentist. I really need to feel comfortable and trust my dentist to be her client for long. Since I move to the Bay Area, 6 yrs ago, I changed at least 6 dentists. My first trusted one was in San Jose but I moved and needed to change. Since then I never found any dentist that I could be confident that I will stay her/his patient for long until I found Future Dental. Let me tell you one thing: if you are in the Bay Area and looking for a good dentist who is caring, honest, doctor (not a business owner), trustable and reliable dentist then just help yourself and book a visit with Future Dental with Dr. Agrawal! I have been lucky enough to be her patient since last year and I just hope I don't move too far because I'm gonna be her patient until I'm in the Bay Area. She is amazing. She is caring, responsive, trustable, not pushy, very likable and a good dentist. The office is very clean, not busy, not like one of those luxury places either. It is a great dental office. Dr. Agarwal is awesome! I've had a lot of work done with her -- multiple crowns, fillings, and deep cleanings, and Dr. Agarwal handled them all smoothly, while being extremely flexible scheduling. She's very careful to make sure you feel no pain, and doesn't do anything that's unnecessary -- she's referred me to specialists when it was the better option even at her own loss. There are large TV screens with Netflix to pass the time during the work. I've had many dentists in my life and I wouldn't trade Dr. Agarwal for any of them. Highly recommended!

Here's an update 3 months later: I highly recommend Future Dental. Since my first review, I've had a bunch of work done and I appreciate Dr. Agrawal in so many ways. Her COVID safety is top-notch. There is an online questionnaire and a temp check when you arrive. She has several chairs/stations which are sanitized and rotated. It's a large space with a high ceiling and a strong ventilation system. I was the only patient in the building during each visit and only encountered other patients at all for brief moments on a couple occasions when one of us was leaving and the other was coming in. She's very attentive and I feel it from the moment I walk into the office and I see my name on the tiny chalkboard sitting on the front desk. She regularly checks in with me on pain level and is gradual and gentle with the poking and prodding that is dental work. Both her and Laura up front have wonderful personalities and are a pleasure to talk with, and this greatly increases my comfort level and decreases anxiety compared to previous dentists.

I had an infected tooth and found Dr. Agrawal and Future Dental Care via a recommendation on Nextdoor - and thank goodness I did! She was wonderful, fitted me in at short notice and made the whole experience totally easy. After examining my tooth, she prescribed a course of antibiotics, and recommended I come in again for actual treatment but I left it too long, even though she called to get me to schedule an appointment. I’m generally not a fan of dentists and needles so I dithered. I woke this morning in pain from the tooth, called at 11.30 am, had an emergency appointment for noon and the offending root removed by 1 pm! She took great care in making sure I felt as little pain as possible but also didn’t over numb me so I could still feel my face and tongue. She had me stay an extra 30 minutes just to make sure I was okay and then also called me this evening to check how I was doing. This was one of the best dentist experiences I’ve had and I’ve already made an appointment for a full check up and cleaning. If you need a dentist, I encourage you to see Dr. Agrawal in Menlo Park. You will not regret it.

I couldn't have more positive things to say about Future Dental Care, its staff, or Dr. Mudita Agarwal. Everyone there is personable, professional, and really takes the time to get to know you and your needs. They've never charged me for anything beyond what I needed, explained everything they were doing, and even threw in extra things. Dr. Agarwal bends over backwards to fit patients in, even seeing folks in evenings and on weekends. There's never a sense of rush. I've never had that "what are they going to say?" feeling one might get with a dentist. I don't think you can go wrong, and the positive reviews are genuine.

My family has been coming to Future Dental Care for over 12 years, and they have always been fantastic. Now I have brought my husband over in the past year and we have loved getting to know Dr. Agrawal and Laura. They had great communication around their closure and reopening plan around COVID-19 regulations. Luckily we didn't need them, but they were open for emergencies during the shelter in place. Once they were cleared to open for routine care, we came in for some cleanings. They are so quick, and we got our cleanings done and out the door. They checked our temperature, required masks upon arrival, they were wearing masks the entire time, had a hand washing station ready, and friendly sign to welcome us in! I had an old mouth guard that was overdue to be replaced, and my husband needed to come back in to get his wisdom teeth removed, and Dr. Agrawal got my mouth guard ordered and shipped in time for me to pick up by my husband's appointment the next week to save us a need to come back another time. Also, from the moment we stepped in to when we left for my husband's wisdom tooth extraction was less than 45 minutes - wow. And then Dr. Agrawal checked in on him around 8pm that night to make sure everything was okay and offered tips. Dr. Mudita Agrawal goes above and beyond to make sure that your dental care is affordable and that you are safe during these uncertain times. In addition, her practice is very great she definitely knows what she is doing! She also makes you feel at home with music you can choose to play (or TV) and with a cute sign as you walk in with your name on it! I've been going here for at least 8 years and love Shervin and Mudita. The recent visit was during COVID-19 pandemic and all precautions were taken. I also love that Shervin does Saturday appointments which is great for working people, especially since I am coming from ~45 min drive away. The tech is very recent, the office is spacious, and they are super responsive to email. Recommend!

She did notice that I had some similarities to those that suffer from sleep apnea. So I followed up with my primary care doctor and she requested a sleep study and sure enough, I had sleep apnea. I've been going to this dental office for couple of years now, and always been happy. First time I met Dr. Agrawal after she joint this office was Feb '20 for cleaning. I was very impressed how friendly and personable she is. She makes you feel welcome and conformable and the cleaning went well. I am even more impressed after my visit last week. I called her in the afternoon with a tooth pain that was bothering me. She was very responsive and flexible and made time for me to go in after hours at 7pm on a Friday eve. She diagnosed what was wrong right away and thankfully it wasn't anything serious. She didn't try to take advantage and do unnecessary work to just charge me. It's hard to trust a new dentist and she definitely gained my trust. Regarding COVID-19 protocols, she was wearing a mask to greet me. She had me wash my hands right away and rinse my mouth with mouthwash. She wore a face shield on top of her mask when working on my tooth. She made me feel very comfortable and safe.

Luckily we didn't need them, but they were open for emergencies during the shelter in place. Once they were cleared to open for routine care, we came in for some cleanings. </p><p>They are so quick, and we got our cleanings done and out the door. They checked our temperature, required masks upon arrival, they were wearing masks the entire time, had a hand washing station ready, and friendly sign to welcome us in! </p><p>I had an old mouth guard that was overdue to be replaced, and my husband needed to come back in to get his wisdom teeth removed, and Dr. Agrawal got my mouth guard ordered and shipped in time for me to pick up by my husband's appointment the next week to save us a need to come back another time. Also, from the moment we stepped in to when we left for my husband's wisdom tooth extraction was less than 45 minutes - wow. And then Dr. Agrawal checked in on him around 8pm that night to make sure everything was okay and offered tips. </p><p>Thank you so much Dr. Agrawal and Laura for keeping us safe and taking care of our teeth! </p>

<p>I have been going to Future Dental for a number of years and a couple of months ago during a quite overdue exam I was surprised to see that a new dentist had taken over most dentist responsibilities at Future Dental. Her name is Dr. Mudita Agrawal (who also goes by "Dr. A."), and she gave me a thorough exam and produced a treatment plan for me on the spot which, unfortunately, had to wait until May for completion (due to COVID). Finally we were able to get together again, and in the space of one week and two visits Dr. A. was able to complete an impressive 3 fillings and one crown replacement. Dr. A. was easy to communicate with concerning my dental situation and she demonstrated an unparalleled depth of knowledge in her field by clearing up some long-standing misconceptions I'd had about my particular dental issues. I highly recommend consulting Dr. A. for any dental problems, and I'm pleased to see Future Dental continuing its tradition of excellence in dental care. [Special note to those reading this review during quarantine: this is a great time to visit the dentist! Appointment slots are plentiful and lab turnaround times are short. Dr. A. and her staff are taking careful precautions against the virus, nothing to worry about there.]<br></p>

<p>Dr. Agrawal is just great. I have been into her office frequently since I have been grinding my teeth and breaking them since being on lockdown. I have some significant dental phobia. Dr. Agrawal was gentle and patient when I was feeling anxious. Whenever I started to feel nervous, I didn't need to ask, she just could tell that I needed a break. She would wait until I calmed down to start up with the treatment. I now have 2 new permanent crowns and one temporary crown. She also clearly was following all the new rules during the Covid 19. She had me wash my hands, use mouthwash and she wore a mask throughout the treatment. I feel very comfortable recommending her services to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.<br></p>

But when I met Mudita Agrawal she made me feel at ease and comfortable. She took all the necessary precautions even before I sat down in the dentist chair. She checked my temperature at the door, she herself had mask and gloves on and used a face shield while working on my teeth. <p>Nice guy. Nice facility. All the modern bells and whistles. He did good work on me overall. So why the 2 stars?</p><p>Take a look at the pattern of many of the reviews here. Most talk about work he did on these folks. Not many reviews who say "Went in for a check up, and a cleaning. All looked good. See you in six months. Thanks!" That's how it usually goes when I go to a dentist I trust, most of the time. In my experience Dr. Shariati will find a LOT of work you need done. He gave me a long list of work I needed and unfortunately I believed him. I ended up agreeing to about half of what he recommended. I let him do lots of work on me that I don't think I needed.</p><p>A couple years later I went to my old trusted dentist in Berkeley and he took a look at my teeth and said all looked good. No work needed, this is despite Dr. Shariati insistence I needed the work.</p><p>So my advice: if know absolutely know you need work done, go with him. But if you have any doubt, get a second opinion, from a dentist who doesn't push unnecessary services.</p>

<p>I'll have to leave it at 5 stars and fill in the details later....Or maybe just a preview of my review now: personable, patient, caring, excellent diagnostician, generous with her time (stayed late for me & another patient), refers to outstanding specialists, and gives virtually painless injections to get you numbed before she works. My husband found her online when I was having a weekend dental emergency, and I couldn't have been more pleased/impressed.<br></p>

<p>After I reply doctor's email about the grand 8 tooth filling plan and proposed appointment time, they straight up forgot to add my appointment in calendar. And the doctor is unwilling to even try to make up for this mistake. Plus they lack some of the fancy equipment like panoramic x-ray.</p><p>On the plus side the doctor is pretty patient on explaining stuff. I appreciate that.</p>

<p>My experience with Dr Shiriati was fantastic. I'll try to break down the reasons.</p><p>Education</p><p>He took photos of my teeth to show me the issues (grinding, cracks) before any work was done. I could see visually how grinding was affecting my teeth. He made a custom nightguard, which is quite comfortable, and I wear it enthusiastically now because I understand why it's important.</p><p>When he was doing a filling, he took photos before during and after the procedure, and explained each step, so I felt comfortable and understood what was going on during the process.</p><p>Care</p><p>Dr Shiriati did all the dental work himself, even the tedious stuff like cleaning. He reused x-rays from my previous dentist where he could, to take the minimum number of x-rays needed for the treatment.</p><p>Billing</p><p>Future Dental provided a detailed written estimate before starting the work, including researching with my insurance company to find out what they would cover. After treatment, they noticed a mistake the insurance company had made, and followed up with them to correct it. That saved me money.</p>

<p>Dr. Shariati does a professional job! Dr. Shariati even plays your choice in music while he cleans your teeth. I can say nothing but positive things about his practice. My only problem was scheduling an appointment, even though I stopped by multiple times, it took me quite some time to finally schedule an appointment - worth the wait!<br></p>

<p>I would love to leave a kind and positive review for Dr. Shariati, but unfortunately, our three experiences with the front desk receptionist have precluded that possibility. On two separate occasions over the past 3 months, my wife and I (both physicians who live 3 blocks from the office) stopped by with our insurance information to request/schedule appointments. In both cases, the receptionist wrote down our names, insurance information an phone numbers, saying she would get back to us 'in a day or two' with a call to schedule the appointments. Never happened.</p><p>About an hour ago, I rang the office to schedule an appointment for my wife, ideally for this week. The same receptionist indicated they are booked through the week, and that they have a limited schedule next week because of the holiday-- makes perfect sense. I asked if I should call back next week or the following to check for openings... She said, "you could do either"... and hung up the phone.</p><p>Pity to lose out on a dentist in the neighborhood.</p>

<p>This is my personal endorsement of Dr. Shariati.</p><p>This local business really aims at serving the community. The entire process feels like a dentist visit should - a relaxed and honest assessment based on medical opinion and patient needs. As opposed to some of the revenue focused dentists out there.</p><p>I had a checkup and a couple of crowns done with Dr. Shariati and can attest to his professionalism, gentle care (minimal / no pain), and very personable approach to medicine. I believe his prices are competitive, but have not compared.</p><p>I am also very pleased with the results of course :-)</p><p>Dr. Shariati made a full treatment plan for me, pointed out desired and required work, and together we decided what to proceed with and timing. At no time did I feel pushed into procedures I didn't want.</p><p>I highly recommend this practice!</p>

He is knowledgeable and professional and insistent when he knows he's right.</p><p>I won't question him again.</p><p>For example, he gave me numbing solution and local anesthetic before attempting to put in a preventative filling. I've had two preventatives now and neither of them required local anesthetic. So I was scared and hesitant, having never on my life been administered an anaesthetic.</p><p>But as soon as I felt him break through to a soft spot, I was sold. I barely felt it, but it could have been worse.</p><p>Underneath the appearance of flawless molars was a hidden cavity!</p><p>My very first and with my new filling, hopefully last.</p>

<p>Dr. Shervin Sheriati has been my dentist a few years. I appreciate how he takes the time to make you feel comfortable while you are receiving dental treatment. He plays music and has a great sense of humor. Every time I visit his office it's clean and his staff greets you with a friendly smile. <p>I am so glad I found Dr. Sheriati. His office is only blocks away from my house and after reading his reviews, I couldn't help it. And they are all completely accurate. His office is clean, welcoming, and he is so sweet and funny. I get nervous and when I told him that he was just so great at making me laugh but also checking in with me throughout the process as well as explaining everything he was doing. He also plays whatever music you want which is such a nice touch when you're lying under a drill for an hour. :-) I highly highly recommend!!<br></p>

<p>Dr. Shervin Sheriati is the best dentist I've had. He is down to earth and personable and more than willing to explain a procedure in "lay men's terms". He has all the up-to-date tools and gadgets to help him do the finest work. My favorite part about having him as a dentist is that he schedules his patients so that he is one-on-one with them. Whenever I have a visit, it is literally just him, his assistant, and me. That's it. This is so much better than a dentist who pops in and out of several rooms treating many patients at once. I highly recommend him.<br></p>

<p>I have seen Dr. Shariati for over 10 years now. He is a very knowledgeable, relaxed, professional dentist. Under his care, I did not need to do any big work in the past 10 years (quite amazing). In between I needed to switch to someone else due to insurance, and the other dentist immediately asked me to pay for some major work. I did not feel comfortable and delayed. Thank goodness, I came back to Dr. Shariati after 1 year. He did not ask me to do any major work and I was fine for the past 6 years. Dr. Shariati will not ask patients do any unnecessary work just for business. He does care about his patients and he takes good care of them. It is actually a joy to see him every 6 months for the teeth-cleaning. You can certainly trust his integrity.<br></p>

<p>Dr. Shariati is the most relaxed, informative, and caring dentist I have ever had. I have never had a dentist so thorough to explain what he's about to do every step of the way. His gear is state of the art, and he does everything himself, NEVER a hygienist or assistant. In fact, the three times I've been here it's always been just him and his secretary in the office. Photos of each tooth he might be concerned with are taken when you consult him, he puts it on a screen so you can see it and explain with clarity. Funny, trustworthy, real. He's a trekkie and it's hilarious.<br></p>

<p>Okay, I've now been to see Dr. Shariati 4 times now so hopefully I'm qualified to write a review for Future Dental Care.</p><p>All I can really say is both Dr. Shariati and his assistant Geny are fantastic. I first went and saw Dr. Shariati after a couple of bad experiences at 2 other dentists in the Redwood City/Menlo Park/San Carlos area and was feeling more than a little apprehensive. Unfortunately, I had just cracked a tooth and needed to get in to see a dentist ASAP and I apparently sounded pathetic enough that he agreed to squeeze me in at the end of the day. He did everything he could to stabilize the situation and then got me back in within a few days to put a crown on the offending tooth. I was absolutely terrified of the prospect of getting a crown but he pulled off the entire 2 day procedure like a champ with almost no discomfort at all.</p><p>Since then, I've been back to have a semi-annual cleaning done as well as a cavity filled--both of those experiences were equally pain and stress-free. As others have mentioned, he will play whatever music you feel like listening to and creates a nice terror-free atmosphere (yes, "terror" is the word I most associate with going to the dentist). Compared the the 10 or so dentists I've seen during my lifetime, I can say with great confidence that Dr. Shariati is by far the best I've been to. Fortunately, I live pretty close by but he's definitely one of those people I would drive 40 miles or more to go see--yeah, he's really that good.</p><p>Oh, and last but not least: he's just a really nice guy and is obviously quite smart. He will happily take the time to explain everything he's doing and why it's important. Being a chemist, I'm always curious about the science behind any medical procedures that doctors, physical therapists, or dentists may be performing on me and I was quite happy that Dr. Shariati was more than willing to tell me all about the sciencey details of crowns, fillings, and enamel--heck, I'm pretty sure I even detected a little bit of that nerdy excitement that some scientists/doctors get when talking about the science/medicine they're passionate about! And he has that subtle dry sense of humor that I appreciate.</p><p>Overall, I really can't say enough good things about Future Dental Care. I am just so so SO relieved to have found them and if I ever leave the Bay Area, I am sure I will have a heck of a time trying to find a replacement for them. I've heard of people flying thousands of miles just to see their dentists and I'm kinda worried I'm going to become one of them if I ever move....</p>

<p>I've been going to Dr. Shariati for the past 4 years and he is awesome.</p><p>He has always taken time to patiently explain what he needs to do / is doing, answers all your questions and you even get to see before and after photos.</p><p>When I really needed braces / aligners, instead of doing it himself, he sent me over to an orthodontist who specialized in it. I would not have thought twice about getting Dr. Shariati to do mine, but he wanted me to see a specialist and I respect that.</p><p>Now with my teeth straightened, I'm back to seeing him for my regular teeth stuff. I would not think twice about recommending him to anyone.</p>

(Even when he has to relay terrible news about what's he's found during the visit) I've never had a regular dentist in my life, but I've now found one I'll stick with. <p>In the past, I wouldn't usually have characterized a trip to the dentist as "relaxing", but since becoming a client of Future Dental, that's changed.</p><p>I agree across the board with the other reviewers. Dr. Shariati is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My appointments at his office (I have seen him 4 times over the last 1.5 years -- 2 cleanings and one minor operation) are always positive experiences. Scheduling is easy, I am always greeted warmly by his assistant, and the doctor is always upbeat. He thoroughly answers all of my questions, explaining what he's looking at or doing as he goes. During cleaning, he plays music that (combined with the decor) somehow makes a teeth cleaning hour feel more like happy hour. He has a knack for letting me know I need to floss more frequently without being harsh or judgmental about it.</p>

<p>This is really the very best dental experience I could imagine. I'm not fond of a dental visit (who is?), but I've found myself looking forward to seeing Dr. Shariati. He is extraordinarily attentive to detail. He seems like an artist and maybe a Virgo, too. And he is more sensitive to my discomfort than I am. I appreciate his (successful!) efforts to make a visit relaxing and pain-free. I see other reviewers mention that he's funny -- he is, in fact, great fun to talk to, when my mouth isn't otherwise occupied. I am a Virgo myself - this is definitely the cleanest, most modern, hi-tech dental office I've ever seen -- I'd be surprised if it wasn't one of the most up-to-date dentist offices, technologically, in the Bay Area.<br></p>

I was starting to think it was me, but my fear only grew after having my wisdom teeth pulled out with no remorse at another dental office in Redwood City.</p><p>That is until I was recommended to go to Future Dental Care. This place is such a pleasant environment. It's quiet and spacious almost too relaxing for a dental office. All the equipment is pretty modern and the receptionist Geny, is always very nice.</p><p>Dr. Shariati is a great dentist! Positive, always making sure you are comfortable and has the job done right the first time. I can't say I have ever had a bad experience or left this office dissappointed. Just 2 days ago I had to get a crown after chipping my tooth. For the first time I was not scarred or worried. I just left it in Dr. Shariati's hands.</p>

<p>I've been in California for two years, and have a long history of cavities and knew whoever I picked as a dentist was going to have their work cut out for them.</p><p>After reading Dr. Shariati's reviews on Yelp, I signed up for a cleaning. Nine filled cavities later, I can easily say Dr. Shariati's the best dentist I have ever gone to. His office is spacious and quiet, all the equipment feels modern. The fillings match my teeth perfectly, and he really makes the process as painless as possible (great with the anesthetic, without overdoing it). His rates are a bit above the already high average for dental work around the bay area, but I really can't recommend him enough.</p>
